OPI Silent Mauvie

Kolejny z kolekcji staruchów OPI i na dodatek jeden z moich ulubionych. Bardzo interesujący odcień brudnego różu (czyli mauve), z lekkim shimmerem. Pięknie wygląda na dłoniach, niezależnie od karnacji - jest w zasadzie uniwersalny (sprawdzone!). Jest w tym odcieniu coś bardzo kobiecego - czułam się naprawdę elegancko, pomimo tego, że na dole martensy, a na górze czarna skóra :>

A czy Wy macie jakieś odcienie, w których czujecie się (jeszcze bardziej!) sexy?

Another oldie from OPI and this is one of my favs. Very interesting shade of mauve/dusty pink with a subtle shimmer. It looks great on hands, no matter what your skin tone is (proven!). There's sth special about this color - it makes me feel very feminine, even when wearing Dr. Martens' and black leather :>

OPI Canberra't Without You

To dziwny lakier. Lubię takie niezbyt klasyczne nudziaki, ale ten konkretny lakier to trudny temat. W butelce wygląda świetnie: nudziak podbity różem ze srebrnymi drobinkami (to zdecydowanie nie jest shimmer). Aplikacja koszmarna! Bardzo smuży, a do tego nie jest kryjący (na zdjęciu są dwie grube warstwy). Po wyschnięciu srebrne drobinki wyglądają jak bąble na lakierze, a nie brokat :o( Ale i tak mam do gnoja słabość - dla mojej skóry jest idealnym odcieniem nude - proporcje między różem a beżową bazą są idealne.

It's a weirdo. I like that sort of not very classic nudes, but this one is a problem child. It looks great in a bottle: flesh-toned nude with silver particles (it's not a shimmer). The application was pain in the ass! It's bloody streaky and - tomake it even worse - pretty sheer one (I have two fat layers on my nails). On nails these silver glitter specs look like lacquer bubbles :o( But above these I like this little bastard - it's a perfect shade of nude for my skin tone. The balance between beige and pink is perfect.

BB Couture Man Bug

Jest! Nareszcie go mam! Mój słodkie dzieciątko! Jest najpiękniejszy na świecie! Mój piękny Man Bug od BB Couture. Kolor to coś pomiędzy miętą a turkusem (!), najbardziej przypomina mi grynszpan. Odcień jest delikatny, bo to żelek. A do tego mikroglitter: złoty, zielony i żółty. Popatrzcie tylko :o)

Aplikacja bezproblemowa, ale w dużym skupieniu, bo lakier jest megarzadki. No i po dwóch dniach starte końcówki. Ale kompletnie mi to wisi :>

It’s here! It’s finalny mine! My sweet baby! The most beautiful in the world! My lovely Man Bug from BB Couture. The colour is something between mint and turquoise (!), reminds me of verdigris. Pretty subtle though, because it’s a jelly and it’s packed with a microglitter: golden, greek and yellow. Let the pics speak for themselves :o)

Application was OK, but you have to pay attention - the formula is soooo thin. And after two days of wearing my tips were showing. Like I care :>

Color Club The Great Divide

Chciałam być zajebiście mądra i złamać prawa chemii. Nie udało się, oczywiście. Bądźcie świadkami mojej porażki :> Dopadłam ten lakier na targach - kolor ma nieziemski! Teal zmieszany z morską zielenią, a na dodatek napchany złotym i zielonym shimmerem. Ale, niestety, to cholerny pękacz. Więc wymyśliłam sobie, że pomaluję bazylion warstw, aż odechce mu się pękać \m/ Po trzeciej się poddałam, bo miałam wrażenie, że mam ciężkie paznokcie. A on i tak pękał za każdym razem. Gdyby CC zrobiło go jako zwykły kolor... Bajka.

I wanted to be a smartass and break all the laws od chemistry. I wasn't successful, as you can guess. Please, witness my failure :> The color is amazing - teal with ocean green, packed with golden and green shimmer. But it's a bloody crackle. So I decided to paunt as many layers as possible until it stops cracking. I gave up after the third one - my nails were soooo heavy. And it kept cracking over and over again. If it would be a regular colour... Magic.

Dior Blue Label

Ostatnio coś luksusowo u mnie :> Ale ten Dior to prezent od Mamy :o* Przedziwna jest z nim sytuacja. On ma shimmer! Piękny, lekko srebrzysty, dyskretny, cudo. W butelce niezbyt widoczny, ale podczas malowania się pojawia i ślicznie połyskuje. A po wyschnięciu... ZNIKA!!! Hello...? WTF?! Bez shimmerka to taki zwyczajny, bardzo ciemny granat, szału nie ma. Wrzuciłam na niego Essence Blue Addicted, bo lubię to połączenie. Moje ulubione połączenie: niebieskie i zielony. Jaka jest Wasza ulubiona kombinacja kolorów?

Smells like luxury here :> But this Dior is a gift from my Mom :o* It's a strange situation. This polish has a shimmer! Lovely, bit silvery, subtle, really cool indeed. It appears while painting and gives a lovely spark. And when it dries... IT DISAPPEARS!!! Hello...? WTF?! Without a shimmer it's a decent dark navy blue, not very ass-kicking. I put a layer of Essence's Blue Addicted, it's such a lovely couple. My fav combination of colours: blue and green. What is yours fav combo?

Misa Can't Nobody Take Me Down

Każda z nas ma jakąś lakierową słabość. Niektóre nie są w stanie odmówić glitterom, inne nie pogardzą od czasu do czasu frenczem :> Ja też mam taki słaby punkt: to lakiery znane pod wspólną nazwą mauve, czyli brudne, pudrowe róże we wszelkich nasyceniach i odmianach. Od tych złamanych beżem po te przykurzone, brudne, zgaszone odcienie. Ale jak to się ma do Misy? Otóż na wolności ten lakier ma kolor ciemnego, brudnego różu. Na paznokciach wygląda bardziej jak wiśnie w czekoladzie :> Pociągnęłam do lakierem Essence Time For Romance i naprawdę wygląda nieźle \m/ Nie jestem dobra w robieniu zestawów layeringowych, ale te dwa lakiery idealnie się uzupełniają. Może troszkę jest nudno, ale nuda wcale nie jest zła :o)

A jakie są Wasze lakierowe słabości?

We all have a thing about certain nail polishes. Some of us cannot resist glitters, others are still coming back to a french mani :> I have a "weakness" too. This is a group of lacquers known under a name mauve, all these dusty, muted shades of pink. Has Misa something in common? In reall  it's a dark mauve. When it dries it looks more like cherries and chocolate :> I did a layering with Essence Time For Romance and it feels good \m/ I'm not good at making layering combos, but these two are made for each other. Maybe it's a bit boring, but boredom is not that bad, is it? :o)

Ostatnio nie mogę się uwolnić od tego numeru! Spójrzcie jakie Ian Astbury miał kiedyś włosy! I na perkusji Matt Sorum. A to był rok 1989...

Dior Waterlily

No śliczny jest, naprawdę :o) Taka ładna zieleń w stylu mint/jade, z lekkim, opalizującym shimmerkiem. Wiosna nadchodzi! (sorry, Starkowie z Winterfell!).

It's really pretty one :o) Nice shade of mint/jade green, witah a subtle shimmer. Spring is coming! (sorry, the Starks of Winterfell!).

 

Z oczywistych względów nie mogę porównać go z chanelowskim Jade, ale mogę z Sold Out Forever z oferty Catrice. Podobne nie są. W butelkach, w słabym świetle, wyglądają w miarę podobnie. I na tym koniec. Na paznokciach są ciemniejsze i każdy zmierza w inną stronę. Musicie mieć obydwa :oP

From the obvious reason I cannot compare it to Chanel's Jade, but I still can put it next to Sold Out Forever by Catrice. They are not on the same page. In bottles, in a crappy light, you can call them even similar. And that's it. They dry darker and each one of them is heading towards different direction. You just need them both :oP
